Job Overview
Blair Windows & Doors is seeking an experienced Window & Door Installer to join our team. As a luxury boutique window and door company serving Central Indiana since 1955, we take pride in providing exceptional products, expert installation, and a personalized customer experience.
Our installers are an important part of the Blair experience. This position requires a skilled craftsman who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and understands that the quality of the installation is just as important as the quality of the product.
The ideal candidate has experience installing replacement and new construction windows and doors and is committed to doing the job right the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Install high-quality residential windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and Blair installation standards
- Safely remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home
- Install and finish windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and Blair Windows & Doors standards
- Perform interior and exterior finishing work, including trim, caulking, insulation, and adjustments as needed
- Identify and communicate any potential installation challenges or jobsite concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the installation process
- Protect customer property, furnishings, flooring, and landscaping during installation
- Complete projects with attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Assist with service calls, adjustments, and warranty-related work when needed
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, and team members
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing residential windows and doors preferred
- Strong knowledge of window and door installation practices
- Experience with replacement windows, new construction windows, and exterior doors
- Ability to accurately measure, level, plumb, and adjust products during installation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to troubleshoot installation challenges and find solutions
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities
- Install high-quality residential windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and Blair installation standards
- Remove existing windows and doors while protecting the customer’s home and property
- Complete interior and exterior finishing work, including insulation, caulking, trim, and adjustments
- Perform accurate measurements, leveling, shimming, and product adjustments during installation
- Identify potential jobsite challenges and communicate solutions with the Project Manager
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Provide a positive customer experience through professional communication and workmanship
- Perform service work, repairs, and warranty-related adjustments as needed
- Assist with loading, unloading, and preparation of materials for projects
Qualifications
- Previous experience installing residential windows and doors preferred
- Knowledge of replacement window, new construction window, and exterior door installation practices
- Strong understanding of proper installation techniques and building practices

- Troubleshoot operational issues, hardware concerns, air or water infiltration concerns, and installation-related issues
- Adjust, repair, and replace window and door components as needed
- Evaluate service concerns and determine the best solution for the customer
- Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding service needs and completed work
- Document service findings, repairs completed, and any recommended follow-up work
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and office team to ensure customer needs are addressed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Represent Blair Windows & Doors with professionalism and respect on every service visit
Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of window and door products, hardware, and installation practices

The Project Consultant is responsible for developing relationships and guiding customers through the window and door selection process for both new construction and replacement projects. This role works with homeowners, builders, remodelers, architects, and contractors to understand project needs, recommend the right products, and provide solutions that complement each project’s design, performance requirements, and budget.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who enjoys working with people, understands the importance of quality construction, and believes in a consultative approach focused on education, trust, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners, builders, remodelers, and contractors to understand project goals and requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships within the residential construction and remodeling industry
- Conduct in-home consultations and project meetings for replacement window and door projects
- Work with builders and contractors on new construction window and door selections
- Educate customers on product options, features, benefits, installation processes, and design considerations
- Help customers select window and door solutions that fit the architecture, style, performance needs, and scope of their project
- Prepare accurate proposals and communicate options clearly and professionally
- Manage projects from initial consultation through order placement and installation coordination
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, installation team, and office staff to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Maintain consistent communication with customers, builders, and contractors throughout the process

Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, construction, remodeling, building products, or customer service preferred
- Experience working with builders, contractors, or homeowners is a plus
