We’re selective in the window lines we offer, but we have been installing Polaris Windows for decades. We continue to recommend them for our clients for many reasons. Like all the brands we offer, they have a long history manufacturing windows, are made in the U.S., and use quality materials in their construction. However, there are differences in a Polaris window and other manufacturer’s windows.
Options
Polaris offers three lines of vinyl replacement windows. DynaWELD being their most affordable line and UltraWELD SELECT is the most expensive. In between you’ll find the ThermalWELD PLUS line. In most situations, we recommend the UltraWELD. Vinyl windows are a top choice among homeowners looking for replacement windows. Within those lines are many color and style options including vinyl wood grains. Of course, they offer different glass and screen options in addition to grid/grille options.
High Quality & Affordable
It’s hard to find both high-quality and affordable vinyl replacement windows. Somehow Polaris manages this. All their windows have fusion welded frames and sashes. This makes them stronger and more durable than other windows that aren’t fusion welded. Their lift rails are also part of the sash, rather than an added-on piece making them more durable as well.
Energy Efficient
We know that most homeowners only consider ENERGY STAR® rated windows. In fact, Polaris Windows UltraWELD SELECT line received the Most Efficient designation from energystar.gov. The ThermalWELD PLUS line with Ultimate2 or Ultimate Plus2 glass also received the Most Efficient designation.
Exceptional Warranty
Polaris Windows offers a strong warranty on all their window lines. However, when you choose the DynaWELD or UltraWELD lines, you get a lifetime warranty on the window frame and sash. That provides you with true piece of mind with your window purchase. And, unlike many manufacturers, Polaris offers a transferable limited lifetime warranty which adds value to your home when it comes time to sell it.
