When a window isn’t properly installed, you end up with a water leak. Often this leak doesn’t show itself in the home. Instead it damages nearby insulation and leads to mold growth.
An Improperly Installed Window Allows Sound in the Home
One window performance benefit homeowners often look for in new windows is sound insulation. In order for them to enjoy this benefit, the window must have a precise fit and proper insulation. Without both of those, you won’t experience greater sound insulation.
